I joined Seacoast Mothers Association in September 2006 when my son was five months old. Since I was working from home and with my son full-time, I felt that both of us needed to meet new people. I saw the SMA Stroller Group in the newspaper and started going to a weekly playgroup. It was just what we needed to embrace our new life and learn how to fully enjoy the Seacoast area with a child. I joined the Board of Directors in 2008 and our family welcomed a new addition in January 2011.
Vice President/Subgroups Director

I joined SMA in 2006 right before the birth of my son. I was a first time mom, new to the area and had just left the workforce and was thrilled to find a place to meet and socialize w/ other moms and children. Soon I was volunteering as a Group Leader and enjoying play dates and Moms Nights Out. Making time to volunteer for an amazing non profit like SMA made me feel good! I have now made what I am sure to be lifelong friendships, as has my son. After being a SAHM for 4 years I resumed working full time in 2010. I now enjoy our Working Moms subgroup and am the Group Leader of our Single Moms subgroup. As Programs Director I oversee all subgroups and assist Group Leaders as needed.

I joined SMA in August of 2009. We had just moved to New Hampshire from Texas and I was looking for playmates for my kids, friends for myself and activities for the whole family. I found everything I was looking for and so much more! We all love our SMA family!

I'm a SAHM who has been a member of SMA for almost 4 years and has been on the Board since June of 2009. I have a 5 year-old daughter, Ainsley, and moved to the Seacoast from New York in May of 2006, just after Ainsley was born. I was a high school guidance counselor for 11 years before taking time off to raise my daughter and hope to go back to work soon. I love outdoor activities, cooking and baking, and traveling.

I joined Seacoast Mothers Association in March 2009 when my daughter was eleven months old after a friend told me about the organization. I immediately knew this was the place for me. I felt the organization had some much to offer as well as opportunities for both my daughter and I to meet new people. Since then we've added to our family with a son and the whole family has benefited from SMA. I joined the Board of Directors in the fall of 2009 and have been
so happy to be part of this great organization.

I joined SMA in October 2010 . We had just moved to the area and I was looking to meeting new friends and doing activites with my sons, Jamie and Ian. I I began helping the old Membership Chair by sending out emails to new members. Last June I took over and joined the Board of Directors. I love talking to all the new members and planning the meet and greets. SMA is such a wonderful organization. I've met so many wonderful moms and made some great friends!

I joined SMA in April 09, when my daughter was 16 months old, looking for some light as how to make friends for my daughter as well as for myself since as we all know life is very different once you have a kid. I was introduced to the group through a friend. I was working full time at that moment, so I went from working full time to stay at home mom back to work, but only part time now. I joined the Board of Directors last year in October 2009 and became Events Director in January of 2010.
We love all the opportunities that SMA has offered to us, meeting new people, new places and activities. As well as all the good resources and information we can find in our Chat.
We love it!
